Internship Description

Projects will be designed to help the intern gain knowledge of one or more of the following:

  • Safety
  • Plant layout and equipment
  • Development and design of plant improvements
  • Economic analysis
  • Cost estimation

A chemical engineering student will be assigned projects to help implement new processes or improve operating profit, capacity, safety, or quality of existing products and processes. Processing units at our manufacturing plants provide an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience with a variety of unit operations and technologies. The student will work closely with more experienced engineers and interface with many departments, including Operations, Engineering, R&D, Process Technology, management, and wage roll employees.
