Internship Description

Chemical engineering interns will be given hands-on technical opportunities to build on prior work experiences and/or specific coursework. Interns will experience great independence working on engineering projects. A mentor will be assigned to assist the intern as needed. Eastman's Kingsport, TN, site is a large facility that can provide many different experiences for a student. Eastman has a friendly, team-oriented company culture that is concerned about protecting the environment, the safety and health of their employees, and giving back to the community. There are typically 100+ interns/co-ops working at Eastman's Kingsport,TN, site during the summer so there are numerous professional and social networking opportunities for students.
