Internship Period: 10 weeks

Salary: $6,000 ($2,000 advanced for travel expenses)

  • Current sophomore or junior
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5

Internship Description

Interns will work under the supervision of senior research members on research projects to develop technology to improve the production efficiency of the paper-making process or improve the quality of paper, paperboard, or tissue. Interns will be expected to perform basic lab duties, including running experiments, collecting data, and reporting the data back to the senior researcher. Fundamental lab skills in the area of wet chemistry are desired.
