High School Teacher of the Year Award
Purpose: Recognition of high school teachers with exceptional skills in teaching and a consistent record of dedication to the growth and welfare of their students.
Eligibility: The award is open to any high school chemistry teacher within the region represented by the Cincinnati Section. Membership in ACS is not required.
Nominations: Nominations for the award should include the teacher’s CV and at least one letter of nomination (ideally from the school principal), indicating why the individual exemplifies excellence in chemistry education including a discussion of their use of innovative teaching methods, their effectiveness in encouraging students to pursue science, and their dedication to the teaching profession.
