Information for Current ACS-Hach Grant Recipients

Congratulations on receiving the ACS-Hach High School Chemistry Grant!

We hope that the grant has benefited you in your efforts to improve the teaching and learning of chemistry in your classroom.

Final Reports

The Hach Program requires recipients to submit a report on your accomplishments, challenges, activities, and overall experience resulting from your grant award. The final report is a way to help you meet the conditions of the award, and it is your opportunity to share your experience with us and others who may be interested in applying in the future.

  • If you are reapplying for a Hach grant, please submit your final report by April 1, 2015.
  • If you are NOT reapplying for a Hach grant, final reports are due by June 30, 2015.

How to Submit Your Report

To submit your report, login in to the Hach Application System and complete the “ACS-Hach High School Grant Report Form.”

Report Components

Your Experience

In 500 words or less, describe an accomplishment, an unanticipated challenge, an activity, and/or an aspect of the grant that best represents your experience. Include the number of students impacted, how the students were impacted, and how your classroom has changed. This information will be shared with the general public so please be as descriptive as possible.


Student Impact

Provide an estimate on the number of students impacted by your grant during the 2014-2015 school year.


Photos & Photo Captions

Submit at least one photo that is active, engaging, and best illustrates your proposed outcomes (i.e., students working on the lab using the equipment). The photo must be high resolution (300 DPI, 5 MB max) jpeg/gif/png. Submit the photos in an image format; do not insert the photos into a MS Word or PDF document. Each photo should have a short caption.

Interested in Reapplying?

You may reapply for the ACS-Hach High School Chemistry Grant if you have not been a recipient for two consecutive academic years. If you have been a grant recipient for two consecutive years, you must wait two grant cycles (two academic years) before applying for a new grant.

* If you plan to apply for the 2015-2016 grant cycle, you must submit your report BEFORE submitting an application.
