Study Abroad: STEM Exchanges, Scholarships, and Fellowships in France for Postdocs


Applications are invited from recent PhD’s as well as from established scholars and applicants from the private sector to conduct research and collaborate with colleagues at French research centers and institutes of higher education. Applicants are expected to arrange affiliation and solicit an invitation from a prospective host institution. Grants are for U.S citizens only and are given for a period of 3-6 months.

Applications are invited from U.S citizens to conduct research in the Nord - Pas de Calais region, in multidisciplinary projects preferably in the following areas: involving biology, health, physics, chemistry, math and computer science; advanced technologies of information and communication; cognitive science; ethics, industrial societies; and economic systems. Scholarship awardees are expected to reside in the region of the award and the grant is awarded for a period of 3 to 12 months.

Applications are invited from U.S citizens to conduct research in the Aquitaine region preferably in the following areas: analytical chemistry, materials chemistry, subsoil energy, optic-lasers, health sciences, environment sciences, information sciences, archeology, economics and management. Scholarship awardees are expected to reside in the region of the award and the grant is awarded for a period of 3 to 12 months.

Scholarship awardees are expected to reside in the region of the award and the grant is awarded for a period of 3 to 12 months.
