The International Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Program is administered by the American Italian Cancer Foundation to early-career researchers looking to pursue oncological research in Italy. Program runs for 1 academic year.

Key Dates: The application process for the 2014-15 academic year is now closed. Applicants will be notified of a decision on or before July 1, 2014. Applications for the 2015-16 academic year will be available in January 2015. 


The Post-Doctoral Fellowship is administered by the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Italy to early-career scientists looking to pursue research in Experimental Physics abroad. Candidates must have received PhD or equivalent within the last 8 years. Program runs for 1 academic year.

The Fulbright US Student Program to Italy brings students and researchers abroad to conduct research studies at Italian universities. Candidates at all degree levels and in all fields of study will be considered. Candidates whose projects are concerned with contemporary topics, science and technology, humanities and entrepreneurship are particularly encouraged. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and must be at the intermediate level in the Italian language.
