Programs in Turkey: Senior Academic/Faculty
The Fulbright Specialist Program (FSP) facilitates 2-6 week visits by 10 American professors each year to host institutions worldwide in order for them to lecture on various topics relating to Science and Technology. Lecturer activities can include short-term lecturing, seminars, training, and conferences and workshop participation. Both individuals and institutions can apply. In order to become eligible as an individual, applicants must join a Roster of Specialists for a 5 year term. In order to become eligible as an institution, the school must submit project applications.

The Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program sends approximately 800 scholars and professionals per year abroad, where they lecture and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold a Ph.D. or equivalent.
