Get Your ACS-ID
Important National Meeting Registration Process Changes
Registering for San Francisco? Save time and get more from your online experience with an ACS ID.
If you have not done so, we strongly encourage attendees to sign up before registering. Below are further details regarding the process, and we thank you in advance for your assistance.
What is Changing? The first change is to include Single Sign On with an ACS ID. The ACS ID is used by ACS to allow a single login across internet applications. Prior to registering for the meeting all users must create an ACS ID. When you create your profile you are able to link your membership to your profile. This enables you to save time on registration and provides access to member only content.
What is an ACS ID?
The ACS ID is a single set of log-in credentials (i.e., user name and password) used to access multiple ACS online products. It is FREE and you are not required to be an ACS member to gain an ACS ID.
How this helps:
This process will simplify registration for members with prepopulating most of the mandatory fields in the meeting registration. In addition to speeding up the meeting registration this account can provide many additional benefits to the registrant including keeping them informed, keeping their profile updated, allowing access to multiple ACS online products and services.
We strongly encourage anyone who participates in national and regional meetings, uses ACS services regularly and would like to explore the ACS more fully to sign up for an ACS ID for a richer online experience and better access.
