Getting Setup as a Program Chair
In order for you to access your program you must be assigned to a program area by ACS Staff. Before you can be assigned access you must first log into PACS using your ACS ID. If you have ever signed in at www.acs.org then you already have an ACS ID. You can use the same ACS ID you use to log into the ACS Homepage to be assigned access to PACS as a program chair.
- Go to the PACS login page at http://abstracts.acs.org
- Log in using your ACS ID
Once you have completed these steps contact ACS Staff at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will set up your access to your division/committee. Once assigned as program chair you will have access to “My Dashboard” where you can begin to build your program.
How to Get an ACS ID
If you do not have an ACS ID, click Registering is easy on the login page at http://abstracts.acs.org and follow the instructions.
Provide the following for your division/committee to ACS Staff:
- Submission deadline
- Symposium organizers deadline
- Submission instructions (if your division/committee wants to include specific information for the authors)
- Preprint template (if applicable)
