Dr. Brendan Kelly is Associate Vice President for Research at the University of Alaska . He is currently on assignment as the Program Director for Arctic Biology in the Office of Polar Programs at the National Science Foundation. Dr. Kelly has been studying behavioral ecology of polar marine mammals for more than 30 years. He serves on local, state, national, and international scientific panels concerned with polar biology and climate change and contributed to the Climate Change Science Program Synthesis and Assessment Product 4.3 on effects of climate change on biodiversity.
