Jane Staveley

Ms. Staveley is a principal environmental scientist with ARCADIS. She has 30 years of experience as a consultant to both the public and private sectors on a broad variety of environmental issues. Her main area of expertise is aquatic ecological risk assessment and pollutant fate and transport in aquatic ecosystems, including environmental assessments of veterinary medicines for submission to the U.S. FDA. Ms. Staveley is currently president of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) and is the World Council liaison to SETAC’s Advisory Group on Pharmaceuticals in the Environment. She is also active in the Water Environment Federation. Ms. Staveley holds a B.S. in biology from the College of William & Mary and an M.S.P.H. in environmental chemistry and biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
