Ms. Wu is a program attorney in the Health and Environment Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an environmental action organization of 1.2 million members working to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things. The goal of the Health and Environment Program is stemming the tide of toxics, and Ms. Wu’s litigation and advocacy work specifically focuses on the regulation of pesticides, toxic chemicals in consumer products, and ensuring safe and affordable drinking water for all Americans. Prior to joining NRDC, Ms. Wu practiced law in San Francisco, including water contamination cases against major oil and gas companies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rice University, a law degree from Duke University, and a Masters Degree in environmental policy from the University of Cambridge.
