Center for Environmental Health
Ms. Miller is policy director for the Center for Environmental Health (CEH). She directs CEH's efforts to partner with other organizations, public health experts, community groups, academics, and public officials to help the government develop and enforce sensible measures to protect people from dangerous chemicals. She came to CEH after founding and directing the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative, a coalition that brought together the nation’s leading environmental justice, faith-based, and policy organizations to advocate socially just policies on global warming. Ms. Miller also serves as coordinator for CHANGE (Californians for a Healthy and Green Economy). Her organizing efforts, research reports, and popular articles have led to the creation of numerous policies on global warming including California’s AB32, and her work has been cited in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Third Assessment Report.
