Submit Symposia and Apply for Funding
Technical divisions and programming committees are encouraged to apply for the MPPG cosponsorship of symposia to support collaborative programming at the national meetings. The symposia must be aligned with the national meeting theme and have at least one cooperative cosponsor. ACS is also pleased to offer funds based on the size and duration of each theme-related, cooperatively cosponsored symposium. About the Theme
The theme of this meeting is "Crossroads of Chemistry".
The meeting will explore a variety of "crossroads" topics such as:
- Where the field of Chemistry has been, where we are now and where we are heading—in terms of scientific discovery, societal impact and diversity and inclusion in the practice of chemistry.
- Evolution of the field of chemistry as new connections are made between previously distinct fields within chemistry and between chemistry and other disciplines.
- Effective communication to connect the chemistry profession with the general public, and with the next generation of budding scientists.
Symposia
The deadline for submitting symposia and requests for funding is Monday, October 3, 2022.
Symposia cosponsored by the Multidisciplinary Program Planning Group (MPPG) will be listed for you to consider for your abstract submission when the call for abstracts opens.
