Tokë Vandervoort, General Counsel, is accountable for legal, ethics and compliance matters for ACS and its subsidiaries and operations worldwide. She comes to ACS with deep experience as strategic in-house counsel advising multi-national commercial and nonprofit organizations, and with a reputation for fostering strong cross-functional partnerships to advance business objectives and for her pragmatic risk-based judgment and a global mindset.

Before joining ACS, Tokë served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for the Environmental Defense Fund, a global nonprofit environmental advocacy group that leverages science, economics and law to advance innovative environmental solutions with both business and government partners. Prior to that, she was SVP, Deputy General Counsel at Under Armour where she led a global interdisciplinary team supporting its performance sports footwear and apparel business in over 100 countries as well as its digital fitness/wellness applications with nearly 300M user accounts worldwide. She has also occupied executive legal and privacy roles with two major US telecom and internet solutions companies, spent time in private practice, and served two federal judicial clerkships in US District Court in Colorado.

Tokë, a first generation American, earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston and her bachelor’s in political science with minors in biology and art from Louisiana Tech University. She also completed the Corporate Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
