The ACS Education Division focuses on three major initiatives to help foster the development of the most innovative, relevant, and effective chemistry education in the world.

Topical Content Modules

Pre-Service High School Teacher Programs

Enhances pre-service education at colleges and universities by providing scholarships for students, funding for course reform, and support for field experiences and faculty professional development to improve the quality of chemistry teaching.

Teacher-to-Teacher Workshops

Offers workshops designed to train master teachers to deliver chemistry content related to elementary and middle school curricula, targeted to teachers without science backgrounds.

High School Teachers in Industry

Summer internships for chemistry teachers lay groundwork for their students to work in industrial labs.
