Steven R. Emory
Presenter, “Job Search Essentials: Resumes & CVs”
Steven R. Emory is an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Director of Scientific Technical Services at Western Washington University. During his workshop, “Job Search Essentials: Resumes & CVs,” you will learn:
- Differences and similarities between resumes and CVs.
- How to format a resume to emphasize your strengths.
- Career resources available to help you achieve your career goals.

Yuzki Oey
Panelist
Yuzki Oey is a graduate student researcher at UC Santa Barbara's materials department. She received her bachelors in chemistry from Princeton University with a certificate in materials science and engineering. During the panel, Yuzki will share:
- What to consider when choosing a potential advisor
- How to prepare for applying to graduate school
- What you should ask on your graduate school visits

Allison Smith
Panelist
Allison Smith is a graduate research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Department of Chemistry. Allison received bachelors degrees in chemistry and French from the College of New Jersey and her graduate degree in inorganic chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill. During the panel, Allison will share:

Bridget Woolley
Panelist
Bridget Woolley is a manufacturing lab technician at The Chemours Company. She recieved her bachelors degree in biology from Clarkson University in 2018. During the panel, Bridget will share:
- How to find a job doing something you are passionate about
- What to expect in your first few years in the corporate world
- Tips on navigating and balancing a graduate program while working full time
