ACS Committee on Public Relations and Communications

What We Do

The American Chemical Society (ACS) Committee on Public Relations and Communications, known as CPRC, develops and provides resources to catalyze the communication of chemistry to the public by ACS members and communities.

Our vision: A global community that understands and appreciates the life-improving impact of chemistry

Goals of CPRC:

  • Collaborate/partner with ACS local sections, divisions, committees and other units to increase the effectiveness of their public relations efforts.
  • Share and celebrate successful practices in public relations and communications to serve as models and resources.
  • Deploy effective resources to empower members to engage the public.

If your local section or division needs a public relations facelift, a PR makeover can help! Our team will craft a customized PR plan to help increase your group’s visibility and connection with your members. Read more here.
