Reports and

Annual Review

Institutions must report the following annually to the ACS Committee on Professional Training:

  • number of degrees granted by the chemistry program
  • graduates and the certification status of the baccalaureate graduates
  • supplemental information on the curriculum and faculty

The Committee reviews the report for completeness and consistency with the ACS guidelines and may request additional information.

Statistical information about the numbers of graduates at various levels is summarized and published by the Committee each year.

Periodic Review

To ensure compliance with the ACS guidelines, approved programs must submit a periodic report about their program.

Beginning with the 2016 periodic reviews, the 2015 Guidelines will be applied.
