In recent years, science has become a melting pot of disciplines that merge in order to strengthen the value proposition and pique the consumer’s interest. No longer are operational silos the order of the day, but congruence among science, business and the arts is at play. In this talk, participants will learn how two women Ph.D. chemists used their analytical and research skill sets to transform hair care products created on the bench into an entrepreneurial upstart, Tea and Honey Blends.

What You Will Learn

  • Timing is Everything - when to transition from cosmetic chemist to CEO.
  • Marketing 007 - the unspoken intricacies of taking a product to market.
  • Operational sustainability - Thinking beyond the first order and mapping a long term plan.
