Krista Bianco has over twelve years of diversified IP experience counseling chemical and pharmaceutical companies on the acquisition, protection, and enforcement of IP assets. She has significant experience in both preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in defending patents in complex patent litigation at the trial and appellate level. Ms. Bianco also counsels clients and provides opinions on issues such as inventorship, enforceability, validity, infringement, and regulatory and market exclusivities. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, she worked as a medicinal chemist at a large pharmaceutical company for five years. Ms. Bianco has served as Program Chair of the Chemistry and the Law Division (CHAL) of ACS since 2010 and was Chair of CHAL in 2015.
