Ashley obtained her B.S. in chemistry from Westminster College in 2012. She then attended Duquesne University and graduated in 2019 with a PhD in chemistry. Her graduate work focused on the surface modification of metal alloys with self-assembled monolayers for biomedical applications. Ashley is currently a senior staff scientist at Solenis, a global industrial water treatment company. In this capacity, she serves as the technical lead for the pulp and paper section of the customer analytical laboratory.
