Janet Bryant is a now-retired Research Scientist/Engineer IV and long-time project manager at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where she has been innovating for nearly 40 years. She currently uses her knowledge of human capital and organizational development to help deliver content of interest on the business of chemistry.
Janet chairs the (ACS) Chemical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Council (CIEC) and Northwest Region. She received the prestigious Federal Laboratory Consortium’s Excellence in Technology Transfer Award for successful commercialization of PNNL science, is an ACS Fellow (2011) and was named ACS Richland Section “Chemist of the Year” in 2013. At the upcoming meeting in Philadelphia, she will receive the ACS 2020 Award for Volunteer Service to the ACS.
