Kate Clancy

Dr. Kathryn Clancy is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Illinois. Clancy’s research integrates life history, evolutionary medicine, and feminist biology. Clancy’s critical research on the culture of science has received widespread attention. She and her colleagues have demonstrated the continued problem of sexual harassment and assault in the sciences, and she serves on the National Academy of Sciences Committee to Address Sexual Harassment in the Sciences.
