Coray Colina

Professor Colina holds a University Term Professorship at the University of Florida. She is Professor of Chemistry and Affiliate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Nuclear Engineering. She won the 2019 American Chemistry Society Cooperative Research Award in Applied Polymer Science and was recently named a 2020-2021  Fulbright Scholar. She served as an Editorial Advisory Board member for ACS Macromolecules (2016-2020) and ACS Macro Letters (2016-2020.)  Dr. Colina has been active in several Research Societies including the ACS, The American Institute of Chemical Engineers  (AIChE) and the Materials Research Society (MRS) throughout her professional career. She currently serves on the Materials Research Society Board of Directors .

 She obtained her Ph.D. at the North Carolina State University and her B.S.  and M.Sc. at Simón Bolívar University. She was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was previously a faculty member at Simón Bolívar University and at The Pennsylvania State University.
