Jack Driscoll

Dr. Jack Driscoll started HNU/PID Analyzers in 1973 and developed the first commercial photoionization detector (PID) for industrial hygiene and the first commercial PID for gas chromatography (50x more sensitive than the FID). In addition, more than 40,000 of these detectors have been sold. He received the AIHA Baier Award in 2017 for his work with the PID and its introduction to the industrial Hygiene field. He was a founder of Nova Biomedical in 1976, a large in vitro diagnostics clinical company. In 2019, he received the ACS National “Kathryn Hach Award for Entrepreneurial Success.”
