Mary Ann Meador
Mary Ann Meador received a B.S. in Chemistry from Duquesne University in 1979 and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University in 1983. Currently, she is a senior scientist in the Materials and Structures Division at NASA Glenn. She is also an executive editor for ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, and Adjunct Professor of Polymer Engineering at the University of Akron. Dr. Meador is the team lead for projects that design new aerogels for a variety of aerospace applications. Her research has focused on the development of new polymeric materials that may enable future NASA missions.
