Julie Neill is an award-winning career development professional and leadership coach with over 18 years of experience working in higher education, government and the nonprofit sector in the US and overseas. Julie currently teaches and coaches a diverse range of mid-career professionals and MBA students at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business. Prior to working in higher education, Julie started her career working for the world’s largest humanitarian organization, the Red Cross, first in London on international humanitarian law issues, and later in New York City where she worked on the 9/11 Recovery Program. Julie graduated with an undergraduate degree in history from Barnard College, Columbia University and earned a master’s degree in international development from the University of London's School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS). She is also a recent graduate of Georgetown University’s leadership coaching program.
