Omar K. Farha

Andrew Nelson is a Postdoctoral Appointee in the International Biological and Chemical Threat Reduction Program at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He received a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Science and Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Ph.D. in Human Toxicology from the University of Iowa. Andrew’s research background has focused on the biomechanics of running, microbial ecology, cell signaling pathways relevant to aging and cancer, and environmental radiochemistry. Andrew’s current focus is on improving global chemical safety and security.
