Alexis Shusterman

Alexis Shusterman was the runner-up in the 2014 ACS Chemistry Champions competition. She is a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley studying atmospheric chemistry under Professor Ronald Cohen and spearheading the BEACO2N project—a network of commercial sensors that provide high-resolution, real-time maps of CO2 and other pollutants in Oakland, CA.
