What do you love about your job?
I love best helping chemists one-on-one. Based on my experiences as a campus recruiter and hiring manager, I feel I can help people showcase their experiences and talents in the best possible light, by working on their resume and research summary, or by practicing interviewing skills.
What career advice would you give your 18 year old self?
You need more than great science to succeed. You must be able to communicate your science to people with many different backgrounds.
What is your dream vacation?
Galapagos Islands - to see the birds and other wildlife.
If you had to wear a t-shirt with one word on it for one year, what word would you choose?
Grateful. I’m grateful for all the wonderful things in my life.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Flying. Not in a plane, but actually flying through the air. I love to watch birds and the effort or ease with which they can launch themselves into the air.
