What do you love about your job?
From a career perspective – having had the opportunity to make positive contributions to the commercialization of over eighteen new drugs, medical devices, and colorants, including four blockbusters, while having had the privilege to meet, work with, mentor, and learn from thousands of very special people worldwide along the way.
What career advice would you give your 18 year old self?
Keep to your current path and do not forget that one usually needs to get out of their comfort zone in order to grow.
What is your dream vacation?
Hiking on a trail in a National Park with my wife and camera.
If you had to wear a t-shirt with one word on it for one year, what word would you choose?
Cannot do it with one word. Need three, rotating every four months – First is “Grow,” second is “Create,” third is “Inspire.”
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Ability to relate to people of all ages, genders, and ethnicity in order to be more effective in sharing chemistry with the public.
