What do you love about your job?
I enjoy working with our clinical collaborators to apply Cofactor's RNA-based diagnostics in real-world studies. The impact of being able to develop better biomarkers for patient treatment selections is a daunting, but highly rewarding task.

What career advice would you give your 18 year old self?
No one knows what's best for you, except you. Follow the path that makes you happy and fulfilled

What is your dream vacation?
Relaxing on a beach with good food and a good book.

If you had to wear a t-shirt with one word on it for one year, what word would you choose?
Anxious. I over-analyze everything but it's given me the ability to navigate complex situations and approach challenges in a unique way. I like the idea that sometimes what we perceive initially as weaknesses can be adapted into strengths, and I love talking to people about this.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?
Right now, I wish I could instantly absorb a crash course in immunology.  The field of immuno-oncology is revolutionizing cancer care but the immunological implications are intense!
