What do you love about your job?
I love the academic environment, allowing me to pursue my research interests while educating students. My colleagues have created a wonderful environment focused on excellence in teaching, research, and service to the community.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
The most exciting part of my career thus far is the opportunities that I've been fortunate to pursue. Whether it's international travel, working with some of the brightest minds on intriguing research problems, or inspiring the next generation of leaders to pursue their passion, my career has allowed me to make an impact in education and the scientific community.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
I would tell myself that the hard work will most definitely pay off in the future. Building towards success takes patience, grace in failure, and perseverance. The end of the road never is the end, but the beginning of the next challenge.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
ACS Scholars program enabled me to pursue higher education and provided me with a support network that ensured I had others to talk to that provided encouragement when I needed it most.
