As an academic and researcher, I have the license to dive into unexplored chemical territories and forge new pathways in fundamental science.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
Training the next generation of scientists and seeing my students mature into independent researchers has been a rewarding experience.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
The future is brighter than you think but the road getting there will challenge you.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
As an undergraduate, receiving the ACS Scholars award was very encouraging and exciting. It boosted my confidence and strengthened my desire to pursue my graduate studies.
