What do you love about your job?
I love the flexibility I have with my job. I'm still working in the chemistry field, but not in the standard research or teaching environment everyone assumes you'll fall in to. I'm still putting my degree to use but learning more about other areas as well.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
The most exciting part of my career was when I found out recently that I was being promoted within one year of starting at ACS. Knowing that the hard work I've done was being acknowledged is rewarding.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
I'd probably tell myself to apply for more internships my freshman year in college since that following summer is the only one I didn't participate in anything. The experience I gained from LANL and Washington State is something I am highly grateful for, and I can only imagine what else I could've learned if I had a third internship experience.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
ACS scholars helped me make my decision to attend graduate school.
