What do you love about your job?
The versatility of a PhD in chemistry makes you very marketable in a variety of markets, which becomes very useful when some markets are in a down turn.

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
My career is still very new, so I am hoping that the most exciting part is ahead of me.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
Follow your passion, but know that a PhD is not necessary to do what you want to do and still make an impact.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
ACS Scholars allowed me to graduate college without the burden of loans. In addition, the networking events ACS Scholars put on at national ACS conferences were incredibly beneficial. ACS Scholars events made you feel more like you belonged as a student amongst industry experts and leaders, which was a huge confidence boost and encouraged networking outside of the events.
