What do you love about your job?

What has been the most exciting part of your career so far?
Being able to support products from pre-launch to your local store has been an exciting part of my career. I started out as a bench chemist, and have been able to apply my technical knowledge in various setting including manufacturing and regulatory affairs. Working in regulatory affairs is an ever-changing environment. The regulations for a given product or country can change rapidly. Staying abreast with regulations is critical to a company's growth in today's market.

What would you tell yourself at age 18?
Trust God in every area of your life. Never stop believing in your dreams. Don't let the fear of lack, rejection, distraction, and disappointments deter you from moving forward in life. Sow good seed in the ground, and the possibilities are endless.

How has ACS Scholars impacted your life and career?
The ACS Scholars program has allowed me to expand my chemical knowledge, build long-lasting relationships, and have a deeper appreciation for pioneers in the field who paved the way before me. This scholarship supported most of my college tuition. I was also able to conduct research overseas as an ACS Scholar. I am truly thankful to have been a recipient of this scholarship. The scholarship served as a catalyst to help me realize my dream of becoming a chemist.
