Chemists Celebrate Earth Day (CCED) 2017

CCED Theme - Chemistry Helps Feed the World

The American Chemical Society has announced its support of the March for Science to be held on Earth Day, April 22. While currently planned CCED activities will be our central focus, we are encouraging local sections to evaluate the potential for synergy between CCED activities with march-related teaching and hands-on science activities. Satellite marches may provide venues to increase public engagement in local section CCED activities. To read the press release about ACS’ support of the march, visit www.acs.org/marchforscience.
