National Chemistry Week

National Chemistry Week (NCW) is a public awareness campaign that promotes the value of chemistry in everyday life. ACS members and chemistry enthusiasts celebrate NCW by coordinating events and communicating the importance of chemistry. Read more about NCW.

During 2019’s International Year of the Periodic Table, NCW was celebrated October 20–26 with the theme "Marvelous Metals."

Save the date! National Chemistry Week 2020 will be celebrated October 18–24, 2020 with the theme, "Sticking with Chemistry."
