Programs in China: High School (Students/Teachers)

The CIEE High School Abroad Program

The CIEE High School Abroad Program sends US high school graduates to China for 6-12 months of Undergraduate studies in Shanghai or Zhengzhou. Candidates must have a high school GPA of at least 3.0 and must be between 15-18 years of age.

Key Dates: Deadline is May 1, 2013 for candidates looking to study in China for Aug-June academic year, and for students looking to study in China for Sept-Dec semester. Deadline is October 15, 2013 for applicants looking to study in China for Feb-June semester.


The CIEE Gap Year Abroad Program

The CIEE Gap Year Abroad Program sends US high school graduates to China for 6-12 months. Awardees are offered the chance to study Mandarin Chinese at East China Normal University and to participate in volunteer efforts such as instruction of English as a second language. Candidates must be high school graduates.
