Programs in India: High School (Students/Teachers)

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Abroad program provides high school students the opportunity to study in India for lengths of 6-12 months while hosted by a local family. Candidates must be between 15-18 years old at the time of application.

The Fulbright Hays Group Projects Abroad program provides support for high school students looking to pursue training, research and education in a foreign environment. Programs run 5 weeks to 12 months. Ideal student candidates are those who aspire to become teachers in the humanities, sciences, or social sciences.

The Educational Seminars offered by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs offer high school students the opportunity to engage in workshops helping them to gain an understanding of international educational practices and approaches. Programs run for 2-6 weeks.
