ACS/IUSSTF Collaboration

The American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF) signed a three year Chemistry Enterprise Partnership (CEP) in December 2018. The alliance agreement recognizes a shared interest in addressing global challenges and collaborating with the underlying theme of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


Elements of the ACS/IUSSTF Partnership Include:

  • Establishing a joint Fellowship/Visitation program
  • Bilateral workshops in India and the United States
  • Industry engagement through workshops, symposia or other activities

About the Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum

The Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous bilateral organization jointly funded by both the Governments that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry. The Department of Science & Technology, Governments of India and the U.S. Department of States are respective nodal departments.
