IYC 2011 Community Outreach

We invite ACS members, chemistry enthusiasts, and educators to help celebrate the International Year of Chemistry (IYC) throughout 2011 by participating in or hosting a special event. Each quarter, we will focus on a specific theme to confirm that chemistry is a worldwide science that impacts all people positively. Water is the common thread connecting these themes:

Water in the Environment (1st Quarter- Past)

An awareness of water, its sources, and the importance of water purity with its relevance to sustainability will be promoted.
