The Meeting Abstracts Programming System (MAPS) is the online meeting programming system of the American Chemical Society, used by authors, Program Chairs, and Symposium Organizers to submit, view, review, and edit abstracts for ACS Meetings & Expositions.

  • Login to MAPS using your ACS ID at maps.acs.org.
  • If you do not have an ACS ID, please follow these instructions:
    1. Select "Registering is easy"
    2. Create your ACS ID by providing the required information
    3. Return to MAPS and log in with your new ACS ID

All presenters are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fee to present and attend the meeting. Invited speakers should contact their symposium organizer or division program chair to clarify terms of their invitation.

Failure to register for the meeting will result in withdrawal of your abstract from the official meeting program, technical programming archive, and CAS database.

  1. From the MAPS Submission Center, select the Submission tab.
  2. Use the Action drop-down list to the left of the submitted abstract you wish to withdraw and select Withdraw Abstract. NOTE: If the option to withdraw is not available, please email your request to maps@acs.org. In that email, indicate your abstract control ID, abstract title, and the meeting name, to ensure that your request is processed in a timely manner.
