Fall 2020 National Meeting & Expo
As we look towards the ACS Fall 2020 National Meeting & Exposition in San Francisco in August, we are closely monitoring both the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on in-person events and governmental actions and health authority directives to help keep residents and visitors safe. Safety is our core value and will continue to be our ultimate guide for actions affecting ACS members, meeting attendees, and other stakeholders.
What we can assure you is that the ACS Fall 2020 National Meeting & Expo will take place in one form or another. We are exploring various scenarios to allow for a safe and meaningful exchange of scientific research and information, as well as networking; all things normally associated with an ACS national meeting. Those scenarios range from an in-person event to a mix of in-person and virtual activities to an all virtual event.
Regardless of the ultimate format of this meeting, we encourage you to continue to plan for the ACS Fall 2020 National Meeting & Expo. We will share updates as they become available.

How to Submit an Abstract
The Meeting Abstracts Programming System (MAPS) is the online meeting programming system of the American Chemical Society, used by ACS authors, Program Chairs, and Symposium Organizers to submit, view, review, and edit abstracts for ACS National Meeting publications.
All presenters are required to register and pay the appropriate registration fee to present and attend the meeting. Invited speakers should contact their symposium organizer or division program chair to clarify
Failure to register for the meeting will result in withdrawal of your abstract from the official meeting program, technical programming archive, and CAS database.
