IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you are in the U.S. on a temporary non-immigrant visa and plan to visit Mexico from San Diego, you should consult your country’s embassy in Mexico to determine eligibility. Upon return to the U.S., you will need to present your valid passport (with at least six months before expiration) and your U.S. visa at the U.S./Mexico border. Please take note of whether your U.S. visa has been issued for a single entry or for multiple entries. If you have not been granted a multi-entry U.S. visa, you will not be able to return to the U.S. once you have entered Mexico. Your visa type may be determined by looking for the number or letter under the "Entries" section on your U.S. visa. Single entry visas are denoted by the number 1, whereas multiple entry visas are denoted with a certain number (2, 3, etc.) or "M" for multiple/unlimited entries.
