Isaac Weitzhandler, Ph.D.
Biography
Isaac Weitzhandler completed his doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University where he developed new protein biomaterials for drug delivery. He concurrently completed an M.A. in Bioethics and Science Policy, studying intellectual property, drug regulation, and environmental law.
He previously worked as a Graduate Student Fellow in the office of Representative Bradley Byrne (R-AL).
Fellowship Focus
During his time as a Congressional Fellow in the office of Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Isaac:
- Partnered with fellow staffers to work on Energy and Natural Resources topics, including energy tax and public land issues.
