ACS Spring 2021 will be held online April 5-30, with live technical sessions hosted April 5-16 and on-demand and networking content continuing through April 30.

Keynote speakers will delve into bio-based plastics to sequester carbon dioxide, biology in the fourth dimension, machine biology for infectious diseases, and other pioneering science. Cutting-edge developments on the theme of “Macromolecular Chemistry: The Second Century” also will be featured.

Embargoed copies of press releases and a press conference schedule will be available later.

ACS considers requests for press credentials and complimentary registration to meetings from reporters (staff and freelance) and public information officers at government, nonprofit and educational institutions. Marketing and public relations professionals, lobbyists and scientists do not qualify as press and must register via the main meeting page. Journal managing editors, book-commissioning editors, acquisitions editors, publishers, and those who do not produce news for a publication or institution also do not qualify. Journalists and public information officers may request credentials by emailing newsroom@acs.org.
